Cant rate because I cant use it!

I really want to start using this but I cant seem to get it working!
I just downloaded the application yesterday and when I go to categories there are none to choose from and no pop up keyboard to create one.
I thought maybe you needed to take a picture if the receipt first, and when I did I couldnt retrieved the photo.
Id really like to start using it so if anyone knows how I can contact the developer it would be greatly appreciated!
